COURSE  IV: Psychological Interpretation
The Curriculum

LESSON I:
The Spiral of the Signs and Houses: One of the things most text books do not explain is the natural relationship between the signs and houses. This lesson clearly describes how the first six signs, Aries through Virgo, correspond to the areas of life described by the first six Houses.
Example: The house on which you find Aries describes where you need to prove to yourself and others that you are capable of handling things independently. As a result of the independent activity you initiate, you develop a sense of personal "identity".
The sign on the Corresponding 1st House cusp (The Ascendant) shows the nature of this identity...how others see you when you are projecting your identity to others. This sign describes the nature of your self image.
These important relationships are explained extensively in Lesson I.
Example charts are given throughout the Lesson so that you can see the concepts in application.
Self Evaluation: An interpretation outline to help you use these concepts when interpreting your own chart.

LESSON II
The Spiral of the Signs and Houses, continued: Using the technique developed in Lesson I, the signs Libra through Pisces are explained in relationship to the last six Houses.
Examples are cited throughout the Lesson, providing an opportunity to see how these concepts are applied in chart interpretation.
Self Evaluation: An interpretation outline to help you use these concepts when interpreting your own chart.

LESSON III
The importance of considering planetary rulerships to develop and fulfill the needs of the signs they rule.
The difference in interpretation between a planet IN a house and the planet RULING the house.
How the signs, houses and planets work in partnership. Among other things, the following considerations are discussed:
1. A sign: Describing personal needs and attitudes
2. The ruling planet: The energies that must be used to fulfill needs of the signs and develop attitudes they represent
3. The House containing the ruling planet: The area of life (house)  that provides opportunity to utilize and develop the energies of the planets.
4. Interpretation of the house corresponding to the sign in the natural zodiac.
5. The natural ruler of that house.
Self Evaluation: An outline helping you to apply the information in this lesson to the interpretation of your own chart.
