Astrology the Cosmic Pattern Correspondence Courses were developed for the serious student of astrology who cannot attend classes on a regular basis due to their busy schedules, and for those who do not have teaching facilities in their areas. The educational material in these courses provide comprehensive information that cannot be acquired from any other source. Joanne is well-known for her unique talent for explaining complex systems in straight-forward language. She is a certified astrologer who has practiced astrology for over 30 years, and given lectures and workshops internationally.
If you have previous knowledge of astrology, these courses will help you "fill in the gaps." While it is highly recommended that you start with the beginning course, you not required to purchase the entire series if you have studied astrology in the past. Purchase the course that best fits your needs.
Since Joanne's retirement, she has updated the courses and converted them into Home Study Courses. All information that was previously provided on cassette tapes has been updated and transcribed, and the materials in the workbooks have been integrated with the text. Homework is now self-correcting, with answers provided for your convenience at the end of each lesson.
These courses provide a comprehensive and unique approach to Astrology. Each course contains 5 or 6 Lessons, providing, illustration, self-tests, self-analysis guidelines, learning tools and self-correcting assignments.
The complete series of courses take you through an introduction to signs, houses, planets and their important interrelationships, various techniques for interpreting charts, and finally to examine horoscopes in motion through transits and progressions. Courses in Specialized fields of astrology are also available or coming soon.
Study at your own Pace
You are encouraged to study at your own pace, according to your schedule. Don't rush through the lessons, but go step-by-step in order to absorb the material completely.
There are no books required, with the exception of reference books necessary to complete the mathematical calculations in Courses II. Titles are listed in the course descriptions. Of course, Joanne encourages you to read her books and explore other authors as well.

Course I: Introduction to Astrology. (Now Available)
The basics of astrology, including in-depth descriptions of signs, houses, planets and their important interrelationships. This course provides the foundation for all future studies. Six lessons plus self-correcting homework. MORE
Course II: Constructing a Horoscope. (Now Available)
The mathematical construction of a chart based on the date, time and place of birth for people born anywhere in the world. Required books: (1 ) American Atlas (2) American Book of Tables (3) American Ephemeris, 19th Century for midnight. Six lessons, plus self-correcting homework.

Course III: Preparing for Interpretation. (Now Available)
Interpretation techniques, including the chart tone (signature), planetary patterns, the interpretive value of the qualities and elements, retrograde planets, intercepted signs, decanates and more. Six lessons plus self-correcting homework. MORE
Course IV: Psychological Interpretation. (Now Available)
An extension of the previous course, delving deeply into the interpretation of the natal chart using rulerships, major and minor aspects, planetary phases and Arabic Parts. Five lessons, plus self-correcting homework. MORE

The Solar Return chart is cast on the date each year when the Sun returns to its natal position. The chart points to major trends for the year ahead. Five lessons, plus self-correcting homework. MORE
Numerology -- Available Fall 2010
A five-lesson course in numerology. Some understanding of astrological principles is recommended but not required.
Preparing for Professional Certification -- Available late 2010
This course provides the technical and more complex mathematical information needed to successfully pass the professional certification exam, designed specifically to meet AFA requirements. Prerequisite: Knowledge equivalent to previous courses, including Course II: Chart Construction. Reference books listed in Course II. Five tapes plus workbook. MORE
